Une infirmière avide d'argent va trouver le moyen d'assouvir cet obsession en la personne d'un vieil homme très malade dont elle va devenir dans un premier temps son infirmière, puis son épouse et enfin son héritière le jour ou il décède. Mais c'était sans compter sur l'un des enfants du défunt qui en apprenant le décès de son père rentre de l'étranger où il vivait afin de récupérer la totalité de l'héritage pour lui et ses frères.
